The messy & Mundane

A few weeks ago I was given a project: create a Pinterest board that reflects my business.

So I went online. I saved colors & typefaces. Screenshots of vibes. Waves, retreats, skate. & plenty of lifestyle photos of mothers “in real life.”

But almost none of really fully spoke to me.

Beautiful pictures, yes. But unless your daily mothering looks like matching outfits, a cute linen dress & a relatively clean sink, they weren't the real-life images I was looking for.

So I decided to create them.

The messy. The mundane. The real life.

The house you want to look perfect, but in this season, never will. Nothing staged or moved out of the frame first. Just motherhood, as is.

It feels a little vulnerable to put the mess on display. But maybe that's part of it.
